The new product standard EN 16034 was approved by CEN on 08.07.2014. It is now available (DAV) since 01.10.2014.
Within 9 months each member State must publish the standard: in Italy it is now available as UNI EN 16034
The standard will be published on the European Gazette (DoP) and will be defined also the date of withdrawal (DoW). According to the latest news the standard will be published within 2015: the coexistancy period will vary between 3 and 5 years
Only after the publication any italian third party shall ask the Ministero degli Interni to be notified for FPC and EXAP Reports procedures, necessary to CE Mark the fire resistant doors.
