During Milano Design Week, San.Co Costruzioni Tecnologiche presented at Hotel nhow in via Tortona, right in the FuoriSalone district, an installation that involves the use of fire resistant glazing to create elegant effects of transparency: an inclined plate of ISOFIREGLAS 30’ glass 17 mm thick is inserted between two trapezoidal plates of ISOFIREGLAS 120′ 52 mm glass. The assembly is supported by a tubular steel structure designed on the basis of an exclusive architectural plan.

ISOFIREGLAS is a glass fire barrier system in classes EI 30′ to 120′ according to standard EN 1364-1. With an arch or trapezoid shape, positioned vertically or inclined up to 10°, the butt-jointed plates of glass may be used to make walls of virtually infinite width which can also contain doors.
