Renovating the prestigious Hotel Eden in Rome

The Hotel Eden, one of the best 5-star hotels in Rome with a breathtaking view of the capital, has just become part of the Dorchester Collection and renovations are now complete. San.Co contributed to this important project by supplying the doors to the luxurious rooms, designed for sophisticated clientele, and all the wood doors in the building, in the same classic style as the structure itself.

Following the specifications of Genius Loci Architects from Florence, San.Co custom designed the doors to the luxurious rooms with interesting technical features: El 30’ fire resistance and soundproofing up to Rw 43 dB. SimonsWerk TECTUS concealed hinges and Dorma ITS concealed door closers were used to keep the hotel’s elegant style flawless. Instead, Va&Vieni El 60’ doors without locks or panic bars were installed in the corridors to serve as compartmentation and escape routes.
