San.Co’s solutions for the Technogym village

IoArch talks about Technogym village and San.Co’s fireproof solutions

San.Co on the number 86 of IoArch magazine where, in a dedicated focus, is described the intervention to create the new Technogym village of Cesena and above all the fire and smoke-proof solutions in wood and glass that were used.

The founder of Technogym, Nerio Alessandri commissioned the archistar Antonio Citterio to design the building according to the principles of eco-sustainability and well-being at the base of Technogym's corporate culture. All with a keen eye on bioarchitecture. The complex, 150,000 square meters - 60,000 sqm builded, is the first example of Wellness Campus in the world.

San.Co with its fireproof glazed partitions and its fire doors played a central role in the whole project.

Fire rated windows

The glazed walls separating the offices are Isofireglas fire-rated glass which, together with the fire-rated glass doors, guarantee high safety and adequate noise reduction.

Fire doors

In addition to the glass solutions, “Isofire L / Star” fireproof wooden doors were also provided for the kitchens and meeting rooms. They are customizable water painted fire doors. In this case we have installed rei 120 'fire doors and rei 60' fire doors. These fire doors are available with one or two blind or glazed doors.

Metal fire doors with "Elite" acoustic protection were chosen for the stairwells and sliding metal fire doors for the foyer.
